Safety & Reliability

An option for others, a core value for us.

Safety & Reliability Are Our First Priorities

All Catch-a-Ride bus service vehicles are operated by our partner carriers. When selecting these carriers, we think first about the customer, not the cost to us. These carriers are chosen based on their safety and dependability, even if it costs more to hire them over certain other carriers.

Maintenance on Catch-a-Ride Boston to NYC bus and NYC to Boston bus (Bus from Brooklyn to Boston, bus from Bronx to Boston)

Licensed & Insured

All carriers contracted by Catch-A-Ride are authorized by the Department of Transportation and their drivers are properly licensed and insured. This is the most basic of requirements and we continuously check to ensure that the status of these carriers has not changed.

Compliance

All carriers contracted by Catch-A-Ride comply with Department of Transportation regulations and undergo periodic revues by federal and state regulators. This includes Hours of Service limitations that dictate how long a driver can work (hence why you’ll see a driver change mid-route on some schedules).

Maintenance

While a breakdown is never entirely avoidable, at Catch-A-Ride we do our best to minimize the chances of one occurring. That’s why we contract only with carriers who have demonstrated a strong maintenance program.

Safety Above All

The carriers chosen by Catch-A-Ride have all demonstrated a strong culture of safety over everything else, from the administration down to the drivers. Our drivers know not sacrifice your safety in the name of timeliness when traffic happens or in any other circumstance.

24 Hour Dispatch

Catch-A-Ride has access to the exact location of all buses on the routes and, in the event of an emergency, we have an open line of communication with 24 hour dispatch for all of our contracted carriers.
