Jared Maldonado
Catch-a-Ride was founded by Jared Maldonado.After working as a bus driver and dispatcher for 8 years, Maldonado was in a privileged position to hear the good, bad, and ugly of what customers did and did not want. After learning that having stops in the outer boros, especially Brooklyn and the Bronx, would make their travel between New York and Boston easier, he decided it was time to make a change in the way New Yorkers and their visitors got in and out of town. Starting with express bus service on the holidays, he quickly saw the need to expand his service days to include a twice weekly ride. Today, all of the progress that Maldonado has achieved to make Catch-a-Ride a reality would not have been possible without the help of Christian Amrhein.
Chris Amrhein
Chris Amrhein started in the transportation industry 15 years ago as a chauffeur and was quickly promoted to General Manager of a limousine and charter bus company. Coupled with his background in accounting, Chris’ focus has always been in the details, assisting with company growth and complete customer satisfaction. His years of experience behind the wheel and behind the desk have contributed to the success of Catch-A-Ride thus far and compliments Jared’s drive to expand all services. Chris has also driven the Catch-A-Ride lines himself, allowing him to interact with the customers directly, growing management’s experience with the day to day operations as well. This has enable both Jared and Chris the luxury of hearing first hand from the Catch-A-Ride customers.
